Everyone said we we're perfect a couple meant to be
everything was going great until you lied to me
We promised to never hurt each other we both said that we cared
but one of us had lied because when i was standing there
a friend came up to say that there had been another just the other day
I did not know what to do I just wanted to die
because when I came up to you
you couldn’t look me in the eye
and say it wasn't true to spare me just one tear
Now we must end what once was a dream come true
I just have to say one thing and that thing is 'I love you'
Now one again we are trying to make it last
but I just can't seem to forget about the past
all the hurt and all the pain you had put me through
I hope one day it all comes back to you
because you would then know how I felt inside
things just can't be the same no matter how we try
that just goes to show about what happened in the past
proves to us that we we're a love not meant to last
